PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 - P&P Statement

As from the 21st April 2018 the new PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 replaced PPE Directive 89/686/EEC - the document that underpins the legislation for placing PPE on the EU market.
Under Article 47 of the new Regulation exisiting products that satisfied the old Directive and have not been withdrawn can be still be made available on the market until 21st April 2023. This includes the EC type examinations and approvals.
All NEW P&P products made availalbe from now on will be certified in accordance with the new Regulation.
P&P is currently undertaking a planned review and an updating of its product certification to ensure continued compliance to the new Regulation.
